It is an understatement to say that our current situation has been hard. Difficult. Challenging. "Things fall apart," they say, and such words have never rung as true as they do today. While the Coronavirus continues to purge the world with unanticipated savagery, we must also grapple with the brutality of an inherently racist society--a systemic issue that, unlike this pandemic, has existed for centuries and continues to do so. In turn, the CoHo and friends have developed the Allyship in Action Project, a toolkit of resources geared towards white students at Sewanee. Learn how to be anti-racist and an ally to your peers who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC)––but also learn how to act and hold yourself accountable when promoting a more equitable world. Check out the poster below for more details about the date and times of our live Q&A session, as well as the sponsors and collaborators who've helped us out.
